The Copy Monitor Daily Makes a Change

One way to stay on top of current events and attitudes in any industry is to spend some time each day reading up on others' viewpoints from within or regarding an industry. We use Paper.li as one means of collecting industry news.

Paper.li is an auto-published aggregation tool that shares syndicated content according to preset filters set by content managers. We especially like Paper.li, because it performs much like a community newsletter or magazine, wherein works may have been written by any level of participant in the field or habit of writing.

Today's Copy Monitor Daily contains an especially robust collection of contributions, so be sure to reserve a visit this week to check it out

As we grow and fine-tune our vision of service, we may roll out an occasional, permanent change. Today we're sharing news that from now on, rather than publishing a daily 'new' addition of The Copy Monitor Daily, we'll publish twice-weekly editions instead. This way, readers have ample time to return to the same copy at their convenience-- as if they'd laid it on a table for later.

Another reason for our change from daily to biweekly publication:

Daily renewal didn't necessarily equate to new material, most of the time. The result was an automated daily resorting that didn't work for us, considering that we manage (curate) the aggregated material-- after it's published-- into a more organized layout. Our new biweekly strategy gives us time to select the most appropriate content from all that is provided by so many people.

The Copy Monitor Daily now refreshes on each Monday and Thursday morning, in a spirit of beginning our weeks and our weekends with relevant news, perceptions, commentary and information . . . straight from the writing world.
